(MP3 Podcast on www.ParisDJs.com) 2010-01-19
Take heavy hitters classics. Strip them down to old schoolish roots reggae versions. Mix them down to approximately 30 minutes. Put the resulting blend into Grant Phabao's hands for some supersaound mastering. Design a cool Paris DJs-themed artwork. Podcast the whole thing. Blow thousands of minds off with the coolest Molesting Laura attitude you may think of.

Soul Stereo - This Is Reggae Soul 4
(MP3 Podcast on ParisDJs.com) Soul Stereo/T.I.M.E.C., 2009-09-30
Fatta is the main man from the Soul Stereo Soundsystem, the number one sound in France. He's the one who introduced us to The Lone Ranger and Carlton Livingston, whose albums are gonna happen any time soon on the T.I.M.E.C. label. He's the one bringing some heavy selection of rare Jamaican 45s to the studio for Grant Phabao to operate on. This is his 4th mix in the Reggae Soul series. The previous volumes have all been downloaded more than 10.000 times. Why? Because there's just no other reggae podcast anywhere with such quality on the sound and on the diggin' at the same time.
Original reggae-wise, Fatta & Phabao rule!

Podcast XML Link : parisdjs.com/share/feeds/podcast2.xml [podcast?]
Direct download : Stevie_Wonder_vs_Grant_Phabao-Uptight.mp3
Tracklisting :
A. Stevie Wonder vs Grant Phabao - Uptight
B. Cee-Lo vs Grant Phabao - The One
Note : limited edition 100 copies only - made in Jamaica.
Info :
A few months ago we received some bootleg MP3s of Grant Phabao riddims that had leaked on the p2p, credited to the 'Booty Smash Soundsystem'. It's probably the same guys who sent us a copy of this glorious 7 inch, for which they said "only 100 copies were pressed, in Jamaica"...
Stevie's magic voice on Phabao's 'new vintage' 70s reggae production works so well we decided to share this track with you - Reggae Soul at its best!
You can hear the Cee-Lo vs Phabao bootleg in the Molesting Laura Vol.7 mix by Grant Phabao & Djouls, from way back in May 2007 - Soulful hip hop dressed in classy reggae stylings...
