Jammer returns to the fray with the fourth single from his acclaimed and much loved album, Jahmanji. The anthemic, perhaps unusually positive power-grime of Bad Mind People has become a firm favourite in the clubs and on the airwaves. Skepta's bouncy, infectious production provides the perfect backdrop for Jammer and Newham Generals (Dirtee Stank) to ruminate on negative creeps, and Lickle J's singalong chorus is the icing on the grimepie. Double A side Back to the 90's is produced by man of the moment and Ninja Tune's latest signing, Toddla T. Performed with much enthusiasm at the offices of a major newspaper recently (google it,) it's an exuberant, unselfconscious look at a receding decade. Don't even try to resist.

Jammer has signed a three album contract with Big Dada. One of the true originals of the grime scene - both as an MC and a producer - Jammer nearly signed with Big Dada two years ago (and actually played at their 10th Anniversary party), so everyone there is very pleased to have finally persuaded him! After a series of acclaimed mixtapes, Jammer's first full album is scheduled for July 2010. First single, Party Animal, was released January 18th.

The Murkle Man returns, showing a very different side to his musical character than that displayed on Party Animal. Produced by Rapid (best known for his work with Tinchy Stryder) this bass-heavy, grimey, electronic production is the perfect platform for Jammer to strike back at the itty-bitty, wannabe grime stars who spend their time online giving the metaphorical middle finger to anyone more successful than them. That this is achieved with a fair amount of humour and the use of the occasional outlandish put down ("I'm a Lambo/You're just a Z3") is testament to a recording artist who keeps on striving to make better music rather than looking for an excuse to – metaphorically or otherwise – shank someone.

At last the Murkle Man returns and he's JUMPING. Jammer has been a fixture, pioneer and founding father of the Grime scene since its inception. Now signed to Big Dada Recordings, the Leytonstone MC and producer has teamed up with Toddla T and the resulting track is pure energy! A track set to lay waste to Christmas office parties, hen nights, stag nights, pub piss-ups, underground clubs, children's tea parties, old folks' home knees ups and so-fly hipster gatherings, Party Animal shows Jammer at his least serious, his most relaxed and funny. It's a tune solely about having fun and Jahmek Power is having it large. With remixes from Boy Better Know (featuring JME, C-Gritz and Frisco) plus a whole series of dancefloor re-rubs from the hot-as-hell Hardhouse Banton, this is just the first small step which will lead up to the release of Jammer's debut album on Big Dada in May 2010.
