Black Magic is their fifth experience in cooperative expression, a voodoo-themed concept album of music suitable for the dancefloor or the living room, a fresh wave of Jazz, Soul, Afro & Reggae production, untangling the scribble of the wicked world with clarity and maturity, and bringing Paris back to its rightful place, the cultural center of the world.

A peine le nouvel album de Franck Biyong & Massak, Visions Of Kamerun sorti, que déjà la Black & Blues Sessions #9 revient saluer ce nouvel opus. Parfaitement orchestrées et saupoudrées de percussions traditionnelles, les compositions sont soutenues par une batterie afro jazzy des plus efficaces et captivantes. La basse est ronde et réconfortante, entre Funk et Ska. Les riffs de guitare sont discrets, mais imparables, s'enchaînant comme les dribbles des Lions Indomptables. Enfin, la remarquable section de cuivres de Massak, rappelle le , l'Art Ensemble Of Chicago, Fertile Ground ou encore Ceux Qui Marchent Debout. A noter que le légendaire Orlando Julius viendra se joindre au groupe en invité pour un ou deux titres!

Mixed by Grant Phabao in Paris, Visions Of Kamerun gathers African harmonies, delicate traditional percussions, subtle afro-jazz drummings, delicious minimal guitar riffs, the tropically powerful Massak horn section, with soulful vocals from Franck Biyong, Sandra NKaké and Gladys Gambie.
