Depuis 11 ans Waxgroove ne brille toujours pas par l'originalité de son line up. Vous retrouverez en effet le même duo aux platines: Erik Rug et Lord Funk, qui on vous le rappelle, a été le fournisseur de samples des plus gros producteurs electro et hip hop américains - Q Tip, Mancuso, Questlove, Just Blaze ou The Alchemist... Car ce qui a jusqu'à maintenant fait briller la soirée de mille feux, ce qui n'a jamais déçu les amateurs de soul, boogie, afro, latin, jazz, cha cha cha, funk, deep funk ou northen funk, c'est la sélection de nos deux résidents qui réservent leurs galettes pour la Waxgroove une fois tous les deux mois.

Erik Rug has been deejaying since dec 1978!! Specialised people, books, mags, DJs, journalists say he's one of top french house and electro music pioneer - Let's say he was at the right spot the right time. He's basically followed his instinct and was always very confident in his musical tastes. Erik produces records, remixes & compilations for various labels under diverse monikers such as Daphreephunkateerz, Dirty Jesus, Tommy Lobo, Waxworks, Low Tone Priority, 2frenchmen, The Dreadless Soldier, The Spliffheadz, The Plastics, Le Damn Dog or...
