Tracklisting :
A1. No Comply - 4th Floor Fiesta
B1. Los Cabrones - Hola Que Tal (No Comply Remix)

Press Release :
New collaboration from producers Bennson and Lanu is No Comply. '4th Floor Fiesta' sees them teaming up with Melbourne piano heavyweight Mark Fitzgibbon for a heavenly slice of dance-floor bossa/jazz. Mark Fitzgibbon was active in the London jazz-dance scene of the late eighties, playing at the legendary Dingwalls Sunday sessions in Camden Lock alongside Gilles Peterson. Here Fitzgibbon weaves a rich rhythmic and harmonic tapestry with echoes of Horace Silver and Wynton Kelly - equal parts soul and dexterity. No Comply's rub of Los Cabrones 'Hola Que Tal' takes the original salsa getdown into outer space with a stop-over in West London. Tough broken beats collide with searing live percussion, Latino chants and a six-piece horn section. This remix will be available on the Los Cabrones CD-only album due out early 2004.

Bennson is Ben Grayson from The Bamboos

Tracklisting :
A1. Bennson - Coconut Beach
B1. Bennson - Morning Rain
B2. Bennson - Oceans and Whispers

Press Release :
Debut label release from Melbourne's BENNSON delivers on all fronts and highlights his versatility within different genres. Title track 'Coconut Beach' is a storming House groove with Nile Rodgers-style guitars and a big, big organ hook. On the flip 'Morning Rain' takes us into jazz land with crisp drum programming and a beautiful vocal. 'Oceans & Whispers' is an engaging, cinematic piece of future-lounge that rounds out this very consistent debut. Melbourne Producer/Musician, Bennson (AKA Ben Grayson) began his musical apprenticeship at an early age, copping the rhythmic and harmonic approaches of jazz luminaries such as Kenny Barron and Herbie Hancock. By his mid-teens he was already holding down piano gigs with Melbourne's jazz heavyweights. Taking the step to production was inevitable - and Grayson has displayed his versatility with projects running the full spectrum of modern dance music. Between producing and releasing music under the monikers of Bennson, NoComply (Equatorial) and playing hammond organ in Australia's premier DeepFunk outfit The Bamboos, and regular DJ engagements - Grayson continues to keep pushing his abilities and re-defining the role of a modern 'musician'.
