Labelfounder, producer and DJ, Dusty was born and raised in munich where he bought his first HipHop records at the early age of 13. Developing his style progressiv over funk, jazz, triphop, breakbeats and drumandbass he had his first residencies on several clubnights.
His first release (Jazz&Milk EP JM-001) was the starting point for Jazz&Milk as a record label. Teaming up with like minded producers and jazz pianist Christian Doepke theres a lot more to come. Since 2005 dusty is organizing a monthly label-clubnight in munich with international guests and exhibitions.
The whole project started in summer '05 when graphic designer and illustrator Tim Schmitt was doing his final exam - a record cover for munich based dj and producer Dusty.
Jazz&Milk was born.
Call it fusion or confusion - jazz and funk elements meet electronic beats. There are no limitations in styles. Let's say a creative playground for fresh sounds and handmade artwork. Get an idea and visit the local "jazz&milk breaks" events and exhibitions.
Watch out for limited editions and help us to support individual artforms and of course holy fresh milk!
