Press Release :
The mighty man maverick returns with two revoxes of two of the stand out tracks from his highly-acclaimed, rather marvellous Big Dada album, "Playtime Is Over".

"No Qualms" is here given the posse cut treatment. Wiley drops a new verse and is joined by his Boy Better Know bredren JME and Skepta. To complete the package, Eskibeat Recordings up 'n' comer Chipmunk spits out some tasty bars, too. You've never heard so much blather about clothing outside of Roman Road market. One of the standout beats from the album, the Garms rhythm still has all bodies, however well dressed, moving on the dancefloor.

"Baby Girl" was from the other end of Playtime's spectrum - a moving and under-stated tribute to the new Eski-girl - Wiley's baby daughter. Here, the choruses are filled out by the London soul vocals of Eska, best known for her work with the likes of Ty and Cinematic Orchestra, but here adding warmth and bounce to this toddler tone poem.

With original version completing the package, this new single once again stengthens Wiley's vice-like grip on the grime scene, whilest showing his ability to reach beyond it.

Speech Debelle - Freedom Of Speech
(CD/LP/Digital) Big Dada Recordings BD193, 2012-02-06

Two years since winning the 2009 Mercury Music Prize for her debut album, Speech Therapy, and having ridden a rollercoaster through life since then, Speech Debelle is ready to drop her second collection of music. Entitled Freedom of Speech, the album sees Speech turning from introspection to stand up, face and engage with the world around her, spitting confident themes of revolution and love. A first taste of the album came in the aftermath of this summer's riots, when Speech reacted immediately, leaking the track Blaze Up A Fire, (also featuring Roots ManuvaRealism), a track about political revolution written months before. Now the build-up begins to the release of Freedom of Speech in early February 2012 with the free download of the track Studio Backpack Rap. From political to musical revolution, Speech describes the track as being "all about virtual instrumentation and an ode to KwesSpeech Therapy, while showcasing just one aspect of her remarkable new album.
