Weird Al Yankovic - UHF - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack And Other Stuff

'Weird Al' Yankovic - "UHF - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack And Other Stuff"
(Scotti Bros, 13 Juillet 1989)

La chanson-titre mérite sa vidéo, sinon… De même, la parodie de "Money for nothing" (Dire Straits) fait référence à une série américaine inconnue ici. "Attack of the radioactive hamsters from a planet near Mars" se suffit à elle-même rien que par son titre; "Spam", toujours au niveau des préoccupation estomacales, c'est "Stand" de R.E.M.; mais c'est le "Generic blues", parodie générale de toutes les chansons blues qui remporte la palme, surtout pour son solo à 2 notes ('make it shut up now'), son solo de batterie à 2 temps ('drum solo!') et ses paroles tordantes : 'I woke up this morning… then I went back to bed', ou 'Maybe I'll blow my brains out Mama… or maybe I'll just go bow-owling' et 'I got the blues so bad… kind of wish I was dead'. Ah oui! J'oubliais l'indispensable polka "Hot rocks polka", megamix de chanson des Rolling Stones cette fois : "It's Only Rock 'n' Roll (But I Like It)", "Brown Sugar", "You Can't Always Get What You Want", "Honky Tonk Women", "Under My Thumb", "Ruby Tuesday", "Miss You", "Sympathy For The Devil", "Get Off Of My Cloud", "Shattered", "Let's Spend The Night Together" et "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction".
note blues ultime : (Tiff)
