Weird Al Yankovic - Bad Hair Day

bad hair day
'Weird Al' Yankovic - "Bad Hair Day"
(Scotti Bros, 12 Mars 1996)

"Gump" reprend le "Lump" des Presidents Of The United States Of America en racontant l'histoire du célèbre film avec Tom Hanks ('he's Gump, he's Gump, he's not too bright'). Finalement, on retient surtout "The alternative polka", medley en folie de "Loser" (Beck), "Sex Type Thing" (Stone Temple Pilots), "All I Wanna Do" (Sheryl Crow), "Closer" (Nine Inch Nails), "Bang and Blame" (R.E.M.), "You Oughta Know" (Alanis Morissette), "Bullet With Butterfly Wings", (Smashing Pumpkins), "My Friends" (Red Hot Chili Peppers), "I'll Stick Around" (Foo Fighters), "Black Hole Sun" (Soundgarden) et "Basket Case" (Green Day)!

Venezuela 70 - Cosmic Visions Of A Latin American Earth - Venezuelan Experimental Rock In The 1970s (CD/2LP, Soul Jazz, 2016)

English label Soul Jazz Records released this summer a collection of experimental rock recorded in Venezuela in the 1970s, at a time when oil was flowing in abundance and consequently culture rather well subsidized. However, this music had never really got out of the country until now, it's really a...
