Press release :
3 CDs with 30 live tracks by 30 artists who performed at the 2006 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. A collection of "gems" from what is likely to become the most remembered year in Jazz Fest history. A spirit of determination, hope, and renewal was present everywhere, and can clearly be heard in each and every song on this album, be it rock, gospel, country, jazz, blues, or Cajun.

As always, the lion's share of the proceeds go directly to the artists, the non-profit New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, and MusiCares hurricane relief fund.
