Austin, Texas based DJ CHICKEN GEORGE brings us The Swed.u.s.h Connection with four instrumental joints from some of the finest U.S. underground producers. TAKE' s niche can be described as savvy consumers interested in music and hip enough to be below the radar yet charged enough to spin in clubs, radio, parties and on select mix tapes. This is definitely something for the Hip-hoppers, downtempo headz , and anyone thirsty for something fresh. His previous releases are documented on Buttermilk Records. HYDROPONIC SOUND SYSTEM is the Dallas-based Hip-Hop collective whose version of dusted, musical hip-hop can best be described as global soul. Combining a myriad of elements into one coherent and deep sound, producers SKINNY FRESH & RUBE collaborate with multiple MC's and musicians to create music that taps into diverse influences ranging from Kraftwerk to dub to Afro-beat to dancefloor jazz to late 80s NY rap. MALCOM KIPE's music is a collage of sound or better yet an audio puzzle. He embraces golden era hip hop influences and twists ideas drawn from these influences into a creation of its own.
