Press Release :
Moritz Von Oswald and Mark Ernestus are a production team and a record label. Under their alias Basic Channel, they released a series of 12"s in the mid-'90s that cemented their status as minimal techno innovators (minovators?). On July 8, they'll release a collection of six of these tracks as Basic Channel 2 via their own Basic Channel label.

The compilation is a companion piece to the 1995 Basic Channel compilation, which also collected previously released 12"s on CD.

Basic Channel 2 marks the first CD release for all of its individual tracks.
