Info :

Tru Thoughts presents Back Gold will be vinyl only releases and will feature exclusive music which will be either unavailable for several months or never to be released elsewhere, ever. There are less than a thousand available Worldwide. Featured on this 12 are four nuggets aimed at the DJ's. Hints filling loosening bassline will test any soundsystem and totally reinvents The Hot 8. Bassnectar toughens up Me&You with a mash up vibe. TM Juke and Jack Baker have taken on and bettered Fedde Le Grand's "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit" and broken it up funk style. The final track is the work of wonderkid Trus Me who turns Belleruche's Reflection into a 4/4 groove masterfully. These 12's are available from today (Monday 1st September) from Tru Thoughts only.

Press Release :
This 12" is the first in a new promo series from Tru Thoughts. Aimed at the DJs and music fans who use turntables, the Black Gold series will release upfront tracks and remixes that in the majority are not available on any other format apart from vinyl for at least 4-8 months.

A1: HOT 8 BRASS BAND - "JISTEN TO ME (HINT REMIX)"
One of Hint's best remixes to date with the second part helping Hint secure his yearbook prediction of "most likely to be creating big basslines". Don't forget to check the Hint album 'Driven From Distraction'.

A2: ME&YOU - "LAST NIGHT (BASSNECTAR REMIX)"
Bassnectar DJs to loads of people in the USA and just sent through this remix to Me&You (TM Juke & Robert Luis). It has a massive bassline, so unsurprisingly Tru Thoughts decided it had to be released. Don't forget to check the Me&You album 'Floating Heavy'.

AA1: TM JUKE & THE JACK BAKER TRIO - "PUT YOUR HANDS UP FOR BRIGHTON"
Me&You have been playing this track out for quite a few months now and Tru Thoughts have been bombarded with people asking for it. Check the TM Juke & The Jack Baker Trio album 'Boto & The Second Liners'. This track is not on the album though.

AA2: BELLERUCHE - "REFLECTION (TRUS ME REMIX)"
Manchester's Trus Me adds his wonderful deep disco groves to one of the biggest hits from Belleruche's debut album 'Turntable Soul Music'.

Track A1 is available on the download only album 'Hot 8 Brass Band - Remixes'. Track A2 and AA2 will be on the next Shapes compilation album (released on CD at the end of October) and track AA1 is only on vinyl and will be so for at least 6 months.

***Please do not ask for MP3, WAV or CD versions of these tracks….it's Black Gold only***
