À partir de 1997 démarre une soirée bimensuelle, Off-Centre, dans un pub Victorien sur 3 étages situé 333, Old Street dans l'Est Londonien. La soirée devient rapidement une des plus célèbres de la scène "leftfield" anglaise, et fonde sa réputation sur son éclectisme groovy à base de funk, (latin) jazz, drum'n'bass, abstract hip hop, house, soul, reggae, etc. Les deux piliers de ces soirées sont Patrick Forge et Ross Clarke, dont la réputation en matière de deejaying et de sélectors n'est plus à faire. Sans s'étaler plus longuement sur la qualité de cette compilation, intéressons-nous juste au track de Treva Whateva: un inédit composé pour l'occasion, un "Dangerous Disco" à base de samples de violons, très big beat cinématographique second degré, assez déjanté sur la fin mais trop linéaire pour réellement faire notre bonheur...
