The Slip est un trio de pop-jam-jazz guitare/basse/batterie qui sort là respectivement ses 5èmes et 6èmes albums. Le premier est un live électrique, comme son nom l'indique: "Alivelectric". Enregistré lors des tournées de 2002 et 2003, il fait la part belle à l'instant, aux diverses improvisations qui leur sont venues à travers tout le pays, et reste quand même beaucoup plus "live" que "electric" (tant mieux). Le second, acoustique, fut enregistré le 11 Mai 2003 au Club Helsinki, dans la Massachussetts. Il fait plus "chansons dans les montagnes" (mountain pop?) que véritablement jazz, par sa simplicité évidente. Les deux albums sont sortis sur leur propre label, Two.One.Six Records, et on les trouve que sur Internet, as usual...
