Merci à Ninja Tune et Synchronic Records pour ces 3 chansons et 3 remixes, parce que "la musique est peut-être notre plus grand moyen d'action politique de masse, parce que les infos sur nos ondes ne sont plus objectives et nous ont conditionné soit dans un état d'apathie, soit dans un état de pardon des violence injustes et du militarisme conduit en notre nom". Le premier morceau "Not in our name - Pledge of resistance (original) contient le message adressé par Saul Wiilliams, enregistré le 12 May 2002 en public au Arts Speaks Concert Against The War (au Palace à Los Angeles). Si vous n'avez pas déjà entendu ce texte vous savez ce qu'il vous reste à faire.
Suivent "September 12" et "Bloodletting", deux autre brulôts politiques avec une préférence personnelle pour le premier, et surtout les remixes de "Not in our name" qui finissent de convaincre d'aller se choper le vinyl avant qu'on ne le trouve plus... Le Dj Goo, plutôt breaks hip hop rigolo à la Dj Tos, est fort sympathique, le Dj Spooky, version drum'n'bass urbaine, réveille le dancefloor, et le Coldcut c'est tout bonnement un inédit de Coldcut, breakbeat barré qui déchire, comme d'hab.
