Au début, on a l'impression que Red Snapper jouent une resucée de jazz mis au goût jungle du jour. Puis, en écoutant réellement, on s'aperçoit qu'une grande partie des instruments (batterie, double basse, guitare, trompette...) sont joués live. La technique, la programmation techno ne sont là que pour mettre les instruments en valeur. Le résultat se situe entre la new wave des années 80 et le jazz des années 50. Un hybride de jazz, pop, jungle, techno, drum'n'bass et ambiances cinématographiques qui, après "Reeled & skinned" en 95 et "Prince Blimey" en 96, nous prouve que Red Snapper a bien sa place chez Warp, label anglais expérimental d'avant-garde de musiques électronique (Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Boards of Canada, Plaid, Jimi Tenor, Nightmares on Wax, Two Lone Swordsmen...). Du "Images of you" 100% Massive Attack à "The sleepless" ou "Bogeyman", tout n'est que changements de rythmes, guitare jazz et basse p-funk sur fond de batterie ultra syncopée. Leur meilleur album à ce jour.
