Press Release :
Dust off your party horns and get ready to ring in the New Year and celebrate the 4th Anniversary of LivePhish.com with a brand new video AND audio release, available now! We present Phish's December 29th, 1997 performance at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY (with crystal clear, mastered soundboard audio) as the next installment in the on going LivePhish Audio and LivePhish Video series.

Continuing into 2007 in true LivePhish.com fashion, we will routinely offer you hand-picked shows, made available in both Audio and Video formats. All audio releases will be mastered and video will be synched to soundboard reference audio. Download the full show MP3s ($9.95) or FLAC files ($12.95) or fourteen videos (available for purchase both individually at $1.99 or as a complete set for $19.95). The videos will play on any player that supports MPEG-4, and users can freely transfer videos onto popular portable video players, including Apple's video iPod and the Creative Zen Vision.

Because of the innovative nature of the video series, we unfortunately will be unable to obtain the full rights to many of the covers that Phish performed. For this reason there will be an occasional song that will not be available for video download. However, the audio only versions of these shows will contain all songs, including both covers and originals.

We are thrilled to be the first band to deliver video clips of our live shows directly to fans at LivePhish.com, the band's music download channel, which was also first to deliver lossless, uncut live concerts. 12/29/97 is the third release in the continuing LivePhishVideo series - the first being Phish's legendary 1995 New Year's Eve concert at Madison Square Garden, and their recently released Live In Brooklyn DVD (with accompanying soundtrack). As always, you can sample every track from 12/29/97 (as well as from every show in the extensive Live Phish Show Catalog and purchase MP3 downloads of single songs under 12 minutes for 99 cents. Track-by-track downloads give you the ability to create your own compilations of your favorite Phish tunes.

Speech Debelle - Freedom Of Speech

Two years since winning the 2009 Mercury Music Prize for her debut album, Speech Therapy, and having ridden a rollercoaster through life since then, Speech Debelle is ready to drop her second collection of music. Entitled Freedom of Speech, the album sees Speech turning from introspection to stand up, face and engage with the world around her, spitting confident themes of revolution and love. A first taste of the album came in the aftermath of this summer's riots, when Speech reacted immediately, leaking the track Blaze Up A Fire, (also featuring Roots ManuvaRealism), a track about political revolution written months before. Now the build-up begins to the release of Freedom of Speech in early February 2012 with the free download of the track Studio Backpack Rap. From political to musical revolution, Speech describes the track as being "all about virtual instrumentation and an ode to KwesSpeech Therapy, while showcasing just one aspect of her remarkable new album.
