Nanny Tango has licensed classic recordings by Busi Mhlongo, Amampondo, Madosini, Bryce Wassey and much more from South Africa's Melt 2000 label. MOONCAKES - SEVEN INCHES OF HEAVY FUNK!
Belgium's Mooncakes release their first single for Nanny Tango this spring. Feelin Good / Don't Leave Me hanging is a double A side 7" oozing southern fried funk, flutes, guitars & rump shaking beats.

TONGUES OF FIRE - NEW 7" SINGLE
If Sun Ra or Albert Ayler led a marching band on the set of 1970's flick The Wicker Man they may well have sounded like Tongues Of Fire. Band leader Tim Hill expertly fuses American jazz and English folk traditions into hypnotic, unstoppable rhythms with roaring brass lines. Smokin Jo Crow + Washerwoman's Brawl is the first single on Nanny Tango with a TOF album currently in production.
