Press Release:
This 12" is coming along with some great remixwork by the JAZZ JUICE guys, the mighty TM JUKE, new artist THE BAHAMA SOUL CLUB and a dj-friendly acapella of 'Brandnewshoes'. we are sure you will dig this ! This 12" is a teaser for the upcoming double CD '"10 years of....Mo'Horizons" with a best of selection and a bonus cd with two brandnew songs and unreleased remixes of their latest album.

About Mo'Horizons :
Hannover, the capital of Lower Saxony, sometimes known as 'Bosshanover', although this tropical moniker may appear deceptive as blue seas and palm trees are pretty rare around these parts! Nevertheless, it can be argued that this is the place where the primordial mixture of 'Nu- Bossa' and funky breaks first sprang to life in the mid 1990s.

By the end of that decade, music maniacs Ralf Droesemeyer and Mark 'Foh' Wetzler were so uninspired by the 4/4 tedium of the local club scene, that they took the initiative to re-examine their love for bossa, jazz, soul and boogaloo within the dance music genre, and from this Mo' Horizons were born.

The duo released their debut LP, 'Come, Touch The Sun' in 1999, and gained an army of fans, thirsty for their refreshingly eclectic approach. Tracks like 'Foto Viva' became instant classics; tunes that transport the listener from the humdrum of the 9 to 5 to the beaches of Rio, and beyond!

The Mo' Horizons crew have since gained a truly international reputation. Whether it's on tour as DJ-team, or with a soundsystem, they have left listeners and audiences across the globe touched by the 'Bosshanover' sun.

Over the last ten years musical styles have come and gone, but after four studio albums, and several underground hits, Mo' Horizons still sound as fresh and life affirming as they did a decade ago. The boys certainly haven't forgotten to 'Remember Tomorrow'!!

… and of course, they are still touring as a dj - team and with their soundsystem featuring a various couple of guest musicans, to where the sun is calling them.
Enjoy !

Coming soon: remix 2xCD album, incl. mixes by Dj Day, Barrio Katz, Una Mas Trio, The Juju Orchestra, Flamingo Star, Jazzklippa, Alan De Laniere, Tm Juke, Jazz Juice, Mr. Confuse, Bas Lexter Ensample + New Mo'Horizons songs and "best of" bonus CD (Tba)

Speech Debelle - Freedom Of Speech
(CD/LP/Digital) Big Dada Recordings BD193, 2012-02-06

Two years since winning the 2009 Mercury Music Prize for her debut album, Speech Therapy, and having ridden a rollercoaster through life since then, Speech Debelle is ready to drop her second collection of music. Entitled Freedom of Speech, the album sees Speech turning from introspection to stand up, face and engage with the world around her, spitting confident themes of revolution and love. A first taste of the album came in the aftermath of this summer's riots, when Speech reacted immediately, leaking the track Blaze Up A Fire, (also featuring Roots ManuvaRealism), a track about political revolution written months before. Now the build-up begins to the release of Freedom of Speech in early February 2012 with the free download of the track Studio Backpack Rap. From political to musical revolution, Speech describes the track as being "all about virtual instrumentation and an ode to KwesSpeech Therapy, while showcasing just one aspect of her remarkable new album.
