Los Hermanos Latinos - EP3
(12") Bootleg LHL003, 2006-03-20

Tracklisting :
1. Cosas (Los Hermanos Latinos Remix)
2. Baria Cumbia (Los Hermanos Latinos Remix)

Reviews :
White label biz from QUANTIC & SOUNDWAY label boss MILES CLERET. Following in the vein of their other remix 12"s round 3 is another double a-side of latin funk/boogaloo/salsa beefed up w/head nodding beats & hard handclaps. The "COSAS" rmx is slow & low with massive horn work. "BARIA CUMBIA" rmx is an uptempo cut that could stand up well at the CO-OP. WORLD NUJAZZ [Groovedis]

A certain Mr Q and Mr M (we're not allowed to say exactly who they are, but leave you to guess...) are back with another two reworked Latino scorchers. "Cosas" features Afro-Cuban / Puerto Rican horns and vocals merged with a fat b-boy hip hop beat for the head nodders, while "Baria Cumbia" is a more upbeat party anthem with violins and a beefed-up percussive rhythm. Massive double header of Latin club bombs in the usual Los Hermanos Latinos style. This release is limited to just 1000 copies and Fat City is one of a handful of shops to be stocking it.
Los Hermanos Latinos have done it again, revitalising obscure gems seems to be their speciality and with this 12 they've updated two Latin whirlwinds leaving them heavy on the breaks and bass, perfect for the more eclectic of DJs out there. Dont hang about these are strictly limited as ever with these south coast re-edit bombs. [fatcity.co.uk]
