Lion Head Recordings is the new label from veteran electronic dub producer Glyn "Bigga" Bush, internationally known for his work with Rockers Hi Fi during the 1990s and since the turn of the century his solo albums for Sonar Kollektiv ("STUDIO DON" by Lightning Head) and Stereo Deluxe ("BIGGABUSH FREE", "SOUND SENSATION").
"13 Faces Of Lightning Head" is the long-awaited follow up to 2002´s STUDIO DON, originally released on Jazzanova´s offshoot label Best Seven, the album that brought you "Me and Me Princess" ("Nanana Nice...like beans and rice"), "Superfunky Bird" and that crazy steel band version of Jean Jacques Perrey´s EVA.

13 Faces of Lightning Heads was recorded in the South of England and not in Lagos like it sounds. It’s an album brimming with a respect for the source inspiration of Afrobeat and funk but which manages to infuse it with with touches of reggae, hip-hop, club music, global sounds and dub. I’m loving this.
