Press Release :
First Word is back with two nuggets of kidkanevil goodness for your record-box, dropping one of the essential singles of the year.

It kicks off with the unstoppable 'Black Bug' featuring Germany's electro soul brother number one Taprikk Sweezee. He weighs in with a jaw-dropping vocal performance – think Prince meets Jamie Liddell (in Berlin) and you're in the right ballpark. This is coupled with one of the kid's biggest club beats yet – watch this one destroy the dancefloor!

On the flip Sweden's Kissey Asplund is paired with highly-acclaimed Californian emcee Blu (doing his finest Slick Rick English accent!) on the the sultry 'When I Dig'. With an easy, summer vibe, and great vocals from two of the scene's most exciting new talents, this is another track that'll have the clubs bouncing.

Support from Mr. Scruff, Vadim, Bonobo, Natural Self, Gilles Peterson and more.

"Dope! Very Heavy indeed!" - DJ Vadim (Ninja Tune, BBE)
"Both songs are totally amazing... full club and podcast support on theses and a trail of drool from here to leeds in anticipation on the 2nd album..." - Diesler (Tru Thoughts, Freestyle)
"Big ! played yesterday on my MOS radio show..." - James Mountain (Ninja Tune)
