Press Release :
Introducing our 50th Jazzman 45!
Back in 1998, we thought the old & forgotten jazz, soul & funk obscurities that we love should have a chance to stand out on their own, without being lost, bootlegged or propped up by other songs on a comp. And so we released our first Jazzman 45.
To make an impact we started with something extra special - the obscure and esoteric Kathleen Emery 'Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child'. And we sold all 1000 copies in no time! Now the Jazzman issue of this sells for around $25, and the original pressing on Love records can fetch over $400!
So, to celebrate our 50th Jazzman release, Kathleen Emery is available once more, and with an exclusive Quantic remix on the flip! And did you know we have not increased our prices in 8 years? It's £4 across the board for all our 45s on all our labels, the SAME price we started selling 45s for back when we started. What's more, this issue is RED VINYL and ONLY available here on our website. And it's LIMITED - only 200 exist!!! First come first served, ONE only per customer please, and thanks to all our customers and music fans around the world that enjoy Jazzman 45s!
