jon Kennedy on upcoming Melt 2000 compilation & Trojan Records Remix

Another Remix completed and another TWO started.

I have just finished a version of Mantombi Matotiyani's track "Emva Kkhaya", which is, in basic terms, a jews harp-style track all the way... leaving MASSES of space to play with. You can check out this exclusively African release next year on the label Nanny Tango and "MELT 2000" (melt.co.za).

Next year see's the highly respected TROJAN RECORDS 40th birthday. To celebrate this the label has asked a number of artist to do mixes, remixes and interpretations of some of the tracks they've released over the years. I'll be providing a mix alongside such greats as DJ Spooky, Gorillaz and Fatboy Slim.
