jon Kennedy on upcoming Melt 2000 compilation & Trojan Records Remix

Another Remix completed and another TWO started.

I have just finished a version of Mantombi Matotiyani's track "Emva Kkhaya", which is, in basic terms, a jews harp-style track all the way... leaving MASSES of space to play with. You can check out this exclusively African release next year on the label Nanny Tango and "MELT 2000" (

Next year see's the highly respected TROJAN RECORDS 40th birthday. To celebrate this the label has asked a number of artist to do mixes, remixes and interpretations of some of the tracks they've released over the years. I'll be providing a mix alongside such greats as DJ Spooky, Gorillaz and Fatboy Slim.
