Jon Kennedy + Fletch = Snare Force One

Like many projects of differing worth, the collaboration between Grand Central Records' Jon Kennedy and 7 Hills Records' debutant Fletch, started out by mistake. But the events that led to the pair getting together in the first place, deserve labelling as a musical romance.
Fletch recieved an e-mail from someone he'd never heard of before, asking if he'd like to receive regular updates from the then Tru Thoughts recording artist, Mr Kennedy. A postive reply resulted in an exchange of e-mails on occasion, talking about some of the records listed in his chart and the like. Fletch asked if Jon would be prepared to listen to a demo and offer feedback. The demo was appreciated and the conversation that followed resulted in a visit to Jon's native Stockport to thrash out some vocals for his forthcoming album demos.
''We didn't record a thing! Jon and I just shot the shit, and drank lots''.
So the pair became friends, and after many attempts to arrange a turntablist for his live set up, Jon invited mr.F to assist him. Many gigs later and for other commitments getting in the way, Fletch had to leave the band. They missed the times they used to have and wondered how they could do something that would bring them together and create something that they could promote as equals.
It was staring them in the face and they couldn't even see it, but a recreational audio file idea swapping excercise happened upon an interesting blend of their two musical styles!
