Le trio Rhodes/basse/batterie Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey sort coup sur coup 2 albums live, et fêt ainsi sa dixième sortie. Déjà. Et bien sûr, toujours pas la moindre trace d'une demi-mise en place dans nos bacs européens. Mais bon, maintenant qu'on a presque tous l'internet, on s'en fout un peu. On télécharge tous comme des porcs et on se fait notre propre culture à la carte.
Enfin... si vous êtes lecteur assidu de saounds.com et donc arrivé jusqu'ici, c'est le cas. Ainsi, vous apprenez que sur ce dixième album JFJO invitent les souffleurs Skerik, Mark Southerland, Brad Houser et Frank Catalano, pour de la pure impro free-jazz-funk comme on n'en fait plus dans les festivals européens, souvent bien trop "propres"!

(après avoir entendu quelques mp3s, j'attends de recevoir les CDs pour finir cette chronique...)
