Press Release :
Diesler's second album "Keepie Uppies" has been getting some great reactions since its release on CD at the end of April. DJs and wax fanatics have been crying out to get their hands on some of the more dancefloor orientated tracks on vinyl, and Tru Thoughts are happy to oblige. This third single gathers four tracks from the album plus an exclusive remix.
"A Little Something" has established itself as one of Keepie Uppies' biggest tunes. Featuring Laura Vane on vocals (who is currently singing with Gnarls Barkley and has also recorded with MJ Cole) it also appears here as a great remix by Gerardo Frisina from Italy's Schema records. With the help of eight live musicians, Frisina adds an authentic Latin twist to the original.
The introspective horn line of "Pathos" brings a more languid, melancholic feel to the trademark Diesler magic.
Aimed straight at the dancefloor, "900 Degrees" is a fiery blend of intensely percussive beats and infectious horns.
"Stylus Rise" hits you outright with some tremendous broken beats and that funky Diesler percussion, before slipping in some soulful vocals, sung by Joseph Malik.
