Diesler picked up a huge number of fans, including Gilles Peterson and Mr Scruff, with his debut album 'Diggin It Somethin Rotten' released 2005. This lead to a variety of remixes for labels such as Raw Fusion, Afro Art, Freestyle and Ninja Tune, and increased DJ bookings across the world. As a prolific young producer he has not slacked off, he has put his head down to quickly follow up with his second album. An album that finds him working with more musicians and writing songs, alongside his quality dancefloor rockers. And, as you'd hope for from a Tru Thoughts artist, there is a real fusion of music going on here. Brazilian, Cuban, funk, Latin, soul and jazz are fused with a 21st Century sound. Amongst the vocal collaborations are tracks with Joseph Malik (Compost) and Southampton's Laura Vane (who is currently recording with MJ Cole). (from SoulSeduction)
