Press Release for " – the re-launch!"
Yes indeed for it is so… As of some time N-N-N-N-O-O-O-O-W-W-W-W is officially re-launched. To tie in with the forthcoming "Sound Mirrors" album the site has been re-built, recalibrated, re-organised and redesigned from scratch with just about every knob and feature you could possibly imagine, a veritable cornucopia of online malarkey.

Coldcut have always been ahead of the curve on the interweb side of things. It's worth remembering that they launched their groundbreaking Pipe website all the way back in 1995, when most of us still thought WWW was something to do with ITV wrestling coverage. They were also instrumental in the massive, award-winning re-design of in 2001. Now it's their turn.

The new site has been put together by the mighty kleber boys using Nigel Peake's ultra-striking artwork to make a clever Flash-based site. What that means is that while it's packed with lashings of the latest stuff (instant messaging forum, podcasts, RSS feeds, Malaysian Pork Nang flavour crisps), they're all done in such a way that you won't feel like your being beaten to death by a nerd with a computerised pocket pool kit.

Online "Everything Is Under Control" Top Trumps, a treasure hunt, new versions of VJamm and new VJ breaks, regular chat from Matt Black and Jon More, a super-exclusive VIP area that will only be accessible while you have your copy of "Sound Mirrors" cd in ya disc drive; the list goes on and on. And the site will continue to expand, new content and even new areas being added regularly over the next year so that there's always something fresh to explore.

What it is, at the end of the day, is Coldcut World – a virtual destination where you can hang out, browse, research old 12"s by the boys, chat to your mates, watch endless footage and listen to new music. A unique, ever-expanding territory, new doors opening to new rooms, a republic of electric dreams, is definitely back in the virtual building – log on...
