Quand on vous dit "edit", chez Ninja Tune on le pense! La version de l'album faisant 20 minute et celle-ci moins de 6, vous comprendrez qu'il ne s'agit là que d'un apéritif à l'album "Slightly Askew", réunissant lui 4 titres d'une vingtaine de minutes chacun... Nous avions déjà remarqué le saxophoniste Chris Bowden avec son premier album solo sorti discrètement en 1998 chez Soul Jazz, et surtout pour sa participation au sein du Herbaliser Band. Bref un musicien très actif que les Ninja ont bien fait de récupérer. Bon et ce "Crokers (edit)" alors? Imaginez la bande originale d'Amélie Poulain version acid-jazz à l'anglaise... voilà.
