Press Release :
Cadence Weapon returns with the new single from his breakout second album, "Afterparty Babies".

"House Music" is a driving, uptempo party jam that channels the ghosts of go-go, rave and techno into a pummelling, piercing beat, only for Rollie Pemberton to drop lyrics of real depth, wit and wisdom over the top. It's a combination that makes the Cadence Weapon experience pretty unique and nowhere does the MC and producer push the implications further than on "House Music". It's heady, exhilarating stuff - the sound of genres colliding, breaking apart and forming into something new.

To make the package truly complete, remix duties are taken up by mysterious producer A1 Bassline, who turns in a perfect slice of, well, bassline, Mr Weapon's delivery sitting perfectly atop unfeasibly wobbly bottom notes and snapping hi-hats.

Intense, celebratory, cerebral party music? Just what you've been waiting for…

"The glorious evolution of hip hop rolls on" - Plan B magazine
