About Betino's - Hip Hop/Funk/World/Electronic Record Shop in Paris :
We LOVE this shop. Any decent DJ who lives in Paris knows this shop and even goes there often. Betino is just one of the more friendly record sellers of the french main city, he's always looking for small pressings, independant labels, rare groovy thingies, bootlegs from under the counter and more.
If you're desesperatly looking for Tru Thoughts vinyls, for example, don't hesitate a second and drop the guy an email, a phone call or a visit. He's your best chance in Paris.
The shop is very user-friendly, with no less than 3 turntables for private listening before buying in such a small place. New releases arrive each Tuesday, so if you happen to check the store on the second day of the week, you might stumble upon one of your favorite DJ or another record-buyer friend like yourself.

Venezuela 70 - Cosmic Visions Of A Latin American Earth - Venezuelan Experimental Rock In The 1970s (CD/2LP, Soul Jazz, 2016)

English label Soul Jazz Records released this summer a collection of experimental rock recorded in Venezuela in the 1970s, at a time when oil was flowing in abundance and consequently culture rather well subsidized. However, this music had never really got out of the country until now, it's really a...
