ALO - Animal Liberation Orchestra

ALO est à l'origine un quatuor "West coast Funk" de la Bay Area de San Francisco. Il s'appelait à l'origine Django (1994-1996) puis lorsque le batteur le quitta il devint le Animal Liberation Orchestra. De nouveau un quatuor avec le retour du quatrième acolyte en 2002, le groupe prépare son nouvel album pour cet été, avec Jack Johnson comme invité... Gageons qu'il fusionnera lui aussi avec humour soul, funk, pop et rock, brassant des influences aussi diverses que James Brown, le Colonel Bruce Hampton & the Aquarium Rescue Unit, les Disco Biscuits, Elton John ou bien Steely Dan...
