About Mind

Mind Records & Service Corp. is a brand nu parisian label built around Doctor L's production unit and Manu Boubli's rare grooves knowledge.
While being a nu label, Mind starts with a back catalog including Rare Moods 'Peace In Da Neighborhood' and Psyco On Da Bus first album (both formerly released on Comet Records) as well as Doctor L 'Monkey Dizzyness' and Kactus Hunters 'Unlimited Land' (formerly on FAT Recordings).

Mind Records schedule of nu albums is already quite busy, and starts with 'The Real Thing' (Mind 001), a collection of unreleased, exclusives & brand nu tracks featuring George Clinton & Drugs, David Murray & Pharoah Sanders, Roldan from Orishas and many more…
Following is the long awaited nu Psyco album 'There Must Be A Revolution Somewhere' (Mind 002), Broken first album 'Better Luck Next Time' (Mind 003), Doctor L's 4th album 'Forgotten Tracks From The Hard Drive' (Mind 004) and the first double album of Not Your Frequency, a collective work featuring cuban pianist Omar Sosa and french trumpet player Stephane Belmondo amongst others (Mind 005).

Mind Records create his own visual identitity, including album artworks, logos, video clips and short films, T-shirts and website… As important as the music, Mind Records is a global concept, a lifestyle in its own!

The future of Mind Records is in our minds… Many projects are already on the roll including collaborations with our friends from the Funkadelic family, the cuban and brasilian connection, poetry and spoken word shit as well as tasty rare grooves compilations. Short films and DVD, books, live events and partys, radio shows are also schedule in the nearest future.
