The Heavy - Oh No! Not You Again!
(Digital) Counter Records COUNTDNL025, 2009-05-11
The first single to be released from The Heavy's new album, "The House That Dirt Built", is a garage-punk/soul-blues offering of so much power and urgency that the likes of Bunker Hill and Syl Johnson will wonder why the two genres don't get freaky with one another more often.

Press Release :
The first single to be released from The Heavy's new album, "The House That Dirt Built", is a garage-punk/soul-blues offering of so much power and urgency that the likes of Bunker Hill and Syl Johnson will wonder why the two genres don't get freaky with one another more often.
The track was recorded in one take in a dirty little shack in a crazy little town in the West Country. As well as the distinctive voice of lead singer Swaby, the track features vocals from Shingai Shoniwa of The Noisettes and is mixed and co-produced by Jim Abbiss, best known for his work with the likes of the Arctic Monkeys, Adele and Kasabian. "Oh No! Not You Again!" is a testament to the evil and vices that we all surround ourselves with but don't necessarily want... or need.
We don't think you'll hear a song like this from any other band this year. In less than two minutes it packs in so much dirt, so much energy, so much soul. It's, well, heavy. Feel the weight.
