La recette du "Three Corners" du Five Corners Quintet à la sauce Nicola Conte (Schema Records): ajoutez des bongos bien déchainés tapissés de 'dancefloor latin jazz' sur un track terrible, très 60's, matiné de sax et de vibraphone, et vous obtenez un cocktail de samba-jazz bien détonnant, magnifiquement arrangé. Indispensable à tout bon Dj loungesque.
Le remix de "The Devil Kicks" de Sumo-On-Wheels (alias Tuomas Kallio, producteur au sein de Nuspirit Helsinki et pour Dalidéo chez Ricky-Tick) est presque insipide, comme une espèce de house baveuse à l'européenne. Bouark. Le remix du même track signé Dharmaone sera lui aussi à oublier: entre jungle, ambiances deep et drum'n'bass, il n'a pas grand intérêt, l'original lui étant supérieur dans sa catégorie, et le remix anodin si isolé dans un set d'n'b.
