The Avalanches - Essential Mix BBC Radio 1

The Avalanches have waited for more than a decade and a half to release a follow-up to their marvelous sample-heavy 'Since I Left You' album. Alas the new album isn't really our thing. Good news though is they still are cooking some very interesting, eclectic mixes, such as their latest one for the BBC, with 80 weird and wonderful tracks & samples across two hours. Stream below (soundcloud) or on bbc.co.uk.
