Turntables on the Hudson will be curating 3 events this Summer on the mysterious vacant island in between Brooklyn & Manhattan called GOVERNOR'S ISLAND. The first date will be SUNday JULY 26th!! It's an all day festival with music, food, dance, exploration... not to mention some of the best views of the rest of our amazing city! August 23 - Another BIG lineup ALL day from 3PM - 12AM... Soul, funk, disco, cumbia, salsa, dance sounds from COLOMBIA, PANAMA, PUERTO RICO, WEST AFRICA & more!!
Heavyweight rare dance music diggers include: BETO (PANAMA 2 CD release, Soundway Records), PAOLO (Superfly, Paris), FRANKIE FRANCIS (Sofrito UK), NICKODEMUS, MARIANO + NAPPY G & CHRISTIAN ROGERS on percussion! *ANNOUNCING* QUANTIC & his COMBO BARBARO NYC DEBUT!!
