“All That (Natural Self Remix)" was picked up as a highlight of the upcoming year on the BBC 6Music Funk & Soul Show's end of 2008 programme, which aired as a special on BBC Radio 2 in December. Natural Self, the king of beatsy funk gives this great, swing-fuelled song a live party ambience, amping up the double bass and burying some of his trademark electronic noisemongering low down in the mix.
The Eric Lau Remix of the dramatic “Forever And A Day" showcases Lau's unique, crisp and twisted take on modern soul that has won him may fans including 4 Hero, Bugz In The Attic, Phonte (Little Brother), Benji B and Mista Jam (BBC 1xtra). The UK producer's recent album, released on Ubiquity, featured as album of the year in Gilles Peterson's BBC Worldwide Awards and Vapors Magazine.
This 12" is a limited pressing of 500, and also features the reworked instrumental cuts and original a capellas for both tracks.
