Press Release :
"In A Week, In A Day (Ashley Beedle Streetsoul Edit)" is the second single from Kylie Auldist's 'Made Of Stone' album, and on top of the stunning lead track, this 12" also features three other amazing reworks by Hint, Flevans and PTH Projects. Add that collective mass of talent to the raw material of fast-rising star Auldist's classic soul-fuelled grown-up pop credentials, and this 12" is guaranteed to be big news.

Ashley Beedle, in various guises, has had an immeasurable impact on dance music in the UK and beyond, nailing that rare feat of crossing over into number one single territory while maintaining total credibility as an underground pioneer. Few people could claim not to be familiar with his music in one way or another, whether in the form of X-Press 2's chart-topping smash "Lazy"; his unrivalled catalogue of remixes, ranging from breakthrough house tracks as Black Science Orchestra to Elton John's "Are You Ready For Love?"; or through his tastemaking shows on Ministry of Sound and RBMA Radio.

When he received his promo copy of 'Made Of Stone', Ashley Beedle immediately fired back an excited email, saying he loved "In A Week, In A Day" and would like to do an edit. So he did, and here it is: a gorgeously crisp streetwise take on the authentic yet modern soul sound that has made Kylie Auldist a firm favourite of DJs such as Mark Lamarr (BBC Radio 2), Craig Charles (BBC 6Music) and Laurent Garnier.

Also on the A side you'll find "One Goodbye" (Flevans Remix), another popular soulful song from the album given an injection of the Flevans party bounce; on the flip you'll find "In A Week, In A Day" remixed this time by PTH Projects, and the closing track is Hint's atmospherically charged funky house version of "One Goodbye". A standout slice of classy remixing, it recently aired exclusively as part of his Tru Thoughts 10th Anniversary mix on Gilles Peterson's Radio 1 show, grabbing attention the world over, and sparking a flood of enquiries and support from DJs including DJ NG (Rinse FM / 1Xtra). With Hint's of-the-moment sounds winning new fans by the day, this mix cements his rapidly growing reputation for cutting edge production and killer club hooks, and rounds off an amazing 12" in fine style.

"One Goodbye (Hint Remix): Production is spot on ... happy to batter it on radio and in the clubs" - DJ NG (Rinse FM / BBC 1Xtra)
"Powerful, throwback soul vocal" - Benji B (BBC 1Xtra)
"This combination of modern words and musical distillation creates a new breed of soul... a strong follow up to a fine debut" - BBC.co.uk
"This grows and grows... "In A Week, In A Day" and "Lookin' For You" are the standouts for me" - DJ Andy Smith
"The totally delightful "In A Week, In A Day" insinuates with understatement... its sass and strut will haunt you (pleasantly) all summer... great track on a great album" - Bill Buckley, SoulandJazzandFunk.com

Speech Debelle - Freedom Of Speech
(CD/LP/Digital) Big Dada Recordings BD193, 2012-02-06

Two years since winning the 2009 Mercury Music Prize for her debut album, Speech Therapy, and having ridden a rollercoaster through life since then, Speech Debelle is ready to drop her second collection of music. Entitled Freedom of Speech, the album sees Speech turning from introspection to stand up, face and engage with the world around her, spitting confident themes of revolution and love. A first taste of the album came in the aftermath of this summer's riots, when Speech reacted immediately, leaking the track Blaze Up A Fire, (also featuring Roots ManuvaRealism), a track about political revolution written months before. Now the build-up begins to the release of Freedom of Speech in early February 2012 with the free download of the track Studio Backpack Rap. From political to musical revolution, Speech describes the track as being "all about virtual instrumentation and an ode to KwesSpeech Therapy, while showcasing just one aspect of her remarkable new album.
