(MP3 Podcast on www.ParisDJs.com) 2010-02-04
If you're in Paris these days and don't have your ticket for the incredible show tonite at Le New Morning starring Lee Fields (with the Menahan Street Band opening), then move your ass to Sannois (95) next sunday or to Ris-Orangis (91) next Wednesday!!! This is THE CONCERT you need not to miss!! To celebrate this European tour, we've invited for a very soulful mix Thomas Brenneck, alias DJ Tommy TNT, leader of the Menahan Street Band, guitar player for Bronx River Parkway, The Budos Band, The Dap-Kings, El Michels Affair, and founder of Daptone subsidiary Dunham records!!
The Menahan Street Band is part of a sprawling, trazillion-piece live Afrobeat experience that includes members of Antibalas, El Michels Affair, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings and the Budos Band. Staying true to the sound but incorporating Latin and American soul influences, you really have to see them to get how terrific they are!

Paris DJs Soundsystem - Who Is Molesting Laura ? (Part 17)
(MP3 Podcast on www.ParisDJs.com) 2010-01-19
After this incredible evening of mixes (already 8 new ones are up!), let's cool things a little bit with this spiritually joyful mix of slooooooow and loving covers. Standouts include the Alice Russell take on Gnarls Barkley, the emotionnaly intense Al Wilson soulful cover of Tim Buckley, the stripped down and laidback Isaac Hayes cover by El Michels Affair and The Supremes re-interpreted by Lee Fields... Blissful!

(MP3 Podcast on www.ParisDJs.com) 2010-01-19
Take heavy hitters classics. Strip them down to old schoolish roots reggae versions. Mix them down to approximately 30 minutes. Put the resulting blend into Grant Phabao's hands for some supersaound mastering. Design a cool Paris DJs-themed artwork. Podcast the whole thing. Blow thousands of minds off with the coolest Molesting Laura attitude you may think of.

Grant Phabao and Djouls - 21st Century Roots Dub Vol.2
(MP3 Podcast on www.ParisDJs.com) 2010-01-19
This speedy dub mix is among my favorites. It's dub, but not the lazy kind, and doesn't venture into techno-dub at all. This is heavy Jamaican high-octane dub and even goes Tropical disco dub at one point in there! Enjoy the vibes!!

Paris DJs Soundsystem - Who Is Molesting Laura ? (Part 15)
(MP3 Podcast on www.ParisDJs.com) 2010-01-19
This mid-january 2010 avalanche of new mixes is going many places. This new Molesting Laura one, for example, is centered on Rock. Unusual rock covers of soul/funk tracks, or funky covers of rock classics, but with the usually surprising Paris DJs sense of groove...
